Legendary stories and fairy tale costumes in Dolce & Gabbana’s Winter 2014/15 collection

Dolce & Gabbana Autumn/Winter 2014-15

Dolce & Gabbana is such an inspiration to me as a creative person. I was surfing the net this afternoon looking for ideas for my next project, when I stumbled across this D&G fashion show, featuring King-Lear head covers, Cinderella dresses, and much more!

Dolce & Gabbana Autumn/Winter 2014-15This new D&G fashion line is inspired by legendary stories and fairy tales. The show is beautifully put together, reminding us of foxes, forests, and Medieval legends, with head covers that give a nod to Lancelot and King Lear’s knights, and hooded coats that remind us of Little Red Riding Hood.

Dolce & Gabbana Autumn/Winter 2014-15Ice Queens and visual references to Russian costumes illustrated in traditional folk stories have also adorned the catwalk.
Dolce & Gabbana managed to bring a breeze of fresh air to the fashion world by introducing their own story-telling to the catwalk. D&G’s Winter 2014/15 collection will definitely ignite the imagination of creatives across the world, as it offers a unique interpretation of fairy tale costumes and folk traditions!
